Ask your attorney.
However, I assume that the June date was a trial date.
It is likely the court has ordered a pre-trial settlement discussion. Next week your attorney and you, and the defense attorney and claims adjuster will appear before a judge. The judge will attempt to force settlement.
If you reach a settlement, once the adjuster gets the signed release and the stipulation of dismissal, then you will get your check. Most states have laws requiring the insurance company issue payment within a certain time frame, like 20 days. Trust me, the adjuster wants to see this matter resolved just as much as you do.
If you do not settle, the case may go to trial in June. However, if it is not a date certain trial date it could be pushed back several times before you actual have a trial.

go back to your attorneys office and get clarification
If you are paying your attorney then he should explain everything in a way that you understand! That’s why he is getting paid! Winning a settlement does not mean you’ll collect money, I won a judgment against a car dealer, he filed for bankruptcy, changed his name and I never collected anything.
I honestly don’t know, I think the best thing you can do is speak to your attorney. I know it is very frustrating to wait for what seems like forever, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I think the fact that they have pushed it up is a good thing. Keep a good thought and good luck to you.
