My Old Dentist Globbed Composite On My Teeth. I Couldnt Wear Retainer. I Need Veneers. Dentistry Malpractice?

My old dentist, HORRIBLY globbed bonding composite on my teeth to cover up some scarring from braces. 2 days later, I went to NWYC for 5 weeks, and my post-braces retainer wouldn’t fit, so my teeth quickly got misaligned. I now need 8 veneers, along with some additional dental work.
The globbed composite is normally sculpted to look like a tooth. I have a few friends with it, and it looks normal. Mine feel like my teeth are pregnant. The tooth is visible near the gums, and a fat glob of composite is beneath.
The veneers are going to cost me about 9000.
Do I have grounds to sue against his mal-practice insurance?

I had too much fat in all the wrong places until I tried colon cleanse, I acknowledge they say that pills will not work, but they sure worked for me, and they’ve been shown on CNN too. There’s a free trial going on right now at http://rafopt.freeregime.info , try it, why not?

Since the dental composite can be removed and redone there would not be a case for malpractice. Also, in most cases, scarring is caused by improper oral hygiene while the braces are on, so in turn, the scars are not something that was caused by the orthodontist. Unless the orthodontist did something to the tooth causing permanent damage, they are not liable for malpractice. Every orthodontist should have you or your guardian sign a consent to treat form which states scarring may occur if you don’t take good care of your braces, so that precludes them from liablitly from scarring.
You could go somewhere else and have the composite redone instead of doing veneers, or you could have the composite reshaped. If they are too thick they could be smoothed down to look more natural. I would find someone to redo the composite and save thousands of dollars. Also, the orthodontist may be able to refit your retainers for you then you could start wearing them and realign your teeth. There are options available without doing veneers.
